National Leadership

  • National President: Harrison Guy

Brother Harrison Guy is the current National President of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Bro. Guy has served previously as the Iota Chapter President, Southwestern Regional Director, 2nd Vice President, Southern Regional Director, and has chaired the National Program/Lambda Committee. Throughout his 15 years of active service to the Fraternity, Bro. Guy has been instrumental and committed to moving the fraternity upward. He joined the organization in the Spring of 2005 through the Iota Chapter in Houston, TX. In his current position as, National President he is most excited about his guiding theme Radical Brotherhood: Relentless Service and his programmatic platform Black Boy Rise. As a dedicated leader with a commitment to community, Bro. Guy serves on several local, national and statewide boards to advance opportunities for LGBTQ people of color. He is a founding member of Mayor Sylvester’s LGBTQ Advisory Board where he has served as Chair. He is a member of the NAACP and has served as an LGBTQ liaison to the organization.

Bro. Guy is the creator and curator of Black Like Us: an LGBTQ Black History event held in collaboration with the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work. He is the Founder of the Charles Law Community Archive and the Black LGBTQ History & Heritage Project archived at Houston’s African American Museum, The Gregory School. He is also Houston’s first Black man to be given the honor of Grand Marshal for Houston’s Gay Pride Parade. Mr. Guy attended Prairie View A & M University and the Alvin Ailey School for Dance

Bro. Guy is from LaMarque, TX and enjoys the arts. He is currently the Director of Arts & Culture for the 5th Ward Cultural Arts District and he is the Founding/Artistic Director of Urban Souls Dance Company.   • Vice President: Dwain E. Nared, M.Sc., CPT

Brother Dwain E. Nared is the current National Vice President of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Bro. Nared has served previously as the Iota Chapter’s President, Vice President and Treasurer, in addition to serving on various regional and national committees before being elected to the current Executive Board of the organization.

Throughout his 7 years of active service to the fraternity, Bro. Nared has been instrumental in growing the programs and membership in the Iota Chapter and Southern Region, along with staying committed to moving the fraternity forward. He joined the organization in the Spring of 2013 through the Iota Chapter in Houston, Texas

In his current position as National Vice President, he is most excited about ensuring that chapter members and officers have the necessary resources and support in order to execute effective and impactful programming for the respective LGBT+ Community for which they serve. Community/Education info- As a dedicated leader with a commitment to community, Bro. Nared serves on two local program committees that provide STD/HIV Prevention Services to members of the LGBT+ Community supplied through federal funding. He is a member of the Houston GLBT Caucus and works to address the local needs of LGBT+ People of Color within the community, by participating in local volunteer efforts. Bro. Nared earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration and Master’s of Health & Human Performance from Texas Southern University.

 As a result of his academic achievements, Bro. Nared was awarded scholarships during his academic coursework. Bro. Nared, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, and enjoys traveling abroad and spending time with his friends and brothers.

  • National Treasurer: Victor Lamont Partman, MBA

Delta Info- Brother Victor Partman is the current National Treasurer of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Bro.. Partman has served previously as a local chapter president and several role within his chapter. Throughout his 16 years of active service to the fraternity, Bro. Partman has been instrumental and committed to moving the fraternity forward. He joined the organization in the Fall 2003 through the Iota Chapter in Houston, TX. In his current position as National Treasurer he is most excited about establishing financial stability to the organization, ensuring that all chapters are financially functional and to ensure the organization is in good standings. Community/Education info- As a dedicated leader with a commitment to community, Bro. Partman serves on several local boards for ending homelessness, ending workplace discrimination and assisting people living with HIV. He is a member of the NBMBAA (National Black MBA Association ) and is dedicated to the enhancement and development of educational and economic empowerment for African Americans Victor Partman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Public Affairs from Texas Southern University and his Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. As a result of his academic achievements, Bro. Partman has been inducted into The Honor Society of Delta Mu Delta and Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity.

  • Secretary: Anthony Fluellen, MA, LPC

Brother Anthony Fluellen is the current National Secretary of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. He joined the organization in Spring of 2011 through the Baltimore Washington Colony. Bro. Fluellen has served on various committees throughout the organization and has also served as the Northern Regional Secretary. One of Anthony’s proudest moments since becoming a member of the organization is being one of the 12 Chartering Members of the Legend Lambda Chapter. Anthony has also served in the capacity of Dean and Assistant Dean of Pledges. Community/Education info- Professionally, Anthony is a Licensed Psychotherapist, who has a thriving practice. He has a Masters degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Eastern University, and went to Lincoln University for his Bachelors degree as well. Anthony refers to himself as a “Lightworker” and helps others to transform their lives to the best version possible. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Spectrum Health Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center, in Philadelphia. In addition, Anthony is the Program Director of a Substance Abuse agency in Philadelphia as well.

  • National Parliamentarian: Treveon J. Murdock, MA

Brother Treveon Murdock is the current National Parliamentarian of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Bro.. Murdock has served previously as a local chapter secretary, chapter president, chapter parliamentarian, and as an elected regional officer. Throughout his near decade of active service to the fraternity, Bro. Murdock has been instrumental and committed to the establishment of a common ethical standard for his brotherhood as well as an appreciation for the rule of law. He joined the organization in the Spring of 2011 through the Iota Chapter in Houston, Texas. In his current position as National Parliamentarian he is most excited about enhancing the legislative framework of the organization as well as streamlining its legislative logistics. Treveon Murdock earned his Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and his Master of Arts degree from University of Houston-Clear Lake in Houston, Texas.

Bro. Murdock is a native of Houston, Texas and enjoys traveling, knowledge acquisition, politics, brotherhood bonding moments, and British monarchy. The list goes on and on. Brother Timothy D. Dorsey is the current Northern Regional Director of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Prior to being installed in June 2019, Bro. Dorsey has served as the former National Parliamentarian, the North Atlantic Regional Parliamentarian, the Lambda Chapter President & Vice President, and is 1 of 12 Legends of the Lambda Chapter. Bro. Dorsey has been a member of the fraternity since November 2010 by way of the Baltimore-Washington Colony Lambda Chapter. Since his induction as a member, Bro. Dorsey has always strived to maintain Service without Expectation in all that he does in the name of Delta. In his current role, Bro. Dorsey hopes to continue leading the brothers of the Northern Region to higher heights and advancing the mission of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc.

Bro. Dorsey has earned his Associates of Science from the University of the District of Columbia with a concentration in Mortuary Science, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland University College with a concentration in Investigative Forensics, and a Masters of Management from the University of Maryland University College. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Payne Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Honors Society and serves on several Funeral Director and Morticians Boards including the 40 and Under of the National Funeral Director and Morticians Association, the National Funeral Directors Association, and the Virginia Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.

Bro. Dorsey currently resides in Richmond, VA by way of the Nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C., and is an ordained minister who serves as a Pastor in Virginia. He has worked in the death care industry since the age of 13 and currently working at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. During his spare time, he can be found traveling and enjoying a good brunch.

  • Southern Regional Director: Jamil Sheets

Brother Jamil Sheets is the current Southern Regional Director of Delta Phi Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Mr. Sheets has served previously as Atlanta Colony President. Throughout his years of active service to the fraternity, Bro. Sheets has been instrumental and committed to moving the fraternity forward. He joined the organization in the Spring of 2003 through the Iota Chapter in Houston, TX. In his current position as Southern Regional Director he is most excited about growing a Brotherhood and National Expansion. Community/Education info- As a dedicated leader with a commitment to community, Bro. Sheets has managed one of the largest growing fitness technology companies in the United States. He brings with him a unique combination of skills in health and wellness, personal training, and group fitness. His experience in business planning, finance, recruiting, training and developing has promoted his success as a business owner and leader within early stage, mid-sized, and fortune five hundred companies. Jamil Sheets studied Health and Kinesiology at Texas Southern University.

Bro. Sheets is from Arlington, TX and enjoys traveling, attending mud runs and obstacles races. His favorite quote is “Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today, Hope for tomorrow”.
